With all new soap bases, for me, I upload test lathers. The slickness, cushion, and post-shave feel are all excellent for this base. This is SBS's second base and their attempt to improve the post-shave. As not having the opportunity to try the first base, I cannot compare, but the post-shave leaves the skin moisturized and conditioned. You can easily go without a splash or balm, if you so choose.
