"Those affected by the floods have reached 38,000 families. Just in Santa Cruz there are 4,200 families in temporary camps. The agriculture has been enormously affected, close to 160,000 hectares of crops."

STORYLINE
Latest reports from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) indicate that more than 1,000 Bolivian families affected by flooding in Bolivia need food assistance after pounding rainfall across the country, late January, caused rivers to burst killing.
30,000 people were affected, according to OCHA.
OCHA said the most affected areas were in the south of Pando Department and in the north of Beni Department along the rivers Beni, Madre Dios and Orthon.
