The Alfa Romeo Tonale is a new Alfa SUV, and this is our review of it. Sitting below the Stelvio, it's aiming to take on premium German rivals with a unique blend of sharp Italian design and a premium interior. This compact luxury crossover showcases a blend of sleek curves, sharp lines, and an unmistakable front grille that pays homage to the brand's heritage. As Alfa drivers will tell you, "nothing drives quite like an Alfa". Leasing.com sent presenter Howard Ritchie to find out if that's true.
The Tonale promises a dynamic driving experience powered by a range of efficient and performance-oriented engines which all include some form of hybrid tech. The model you see here features a 1.5-litre unit , which when combined with the electric motor produces 10hp.
Inside, a well-crafted interior with a blend of modern technology, good materials, and attention to detail. We particularly like the vivid infotainment screen that feels more up to date than Alfa's other SUV, the Tonale.
With its name inspired by a mountain pass renowned for its challenging curves, the Alfa Romeo Tonale not only suggests a new era for the brand in terms of electrification but also aims to capture hearts with its character and promise of fun journeys.
