Dr. Adam Sachs, a neurosurgeon at The Ottawa Hospital is the first doctor in Ottawa to perform deep brain stimulation to help control the tremors of Parkinson's Disease. One of his first patients, Dr. Jacques Theriault, 70, was diagnosed with the disease eight years ago and shook uncontrollably until his surgery last fall. Today, he doesn't have any visible tremors.
