Metsimaholo Municipality in, Sasolburg, Free State is heading to an election re-run. The council was dissolved this morning after it missed the deadline to pass its R1.2billion budget. The municipality has been unstable since the August elections, which pushed the ANC out of power and a coalition block lead by the DA, voted in the Metsimaholo Community Associations mayoral candidate.
