Thanks so much for watching this video that's all about the gender marker change! I'll walk you through the steps below to show you how you can do it REGARDLESS of the state you're in!

In Tennessee:

1. Use the template I provided on the templates page of my site and print the blank form so your endocrinologist or Primary Care Provider (PCP) knows how to format the necessary letter from the gender marker change.

2. Get the gender marker change template to your PCP or endocrinologist to fill out and sign in ink and bring to DMV.

If not in Tennessee and you're looking to get a name change:

Go to this link and enter what state you are in (in the US) and it will guide you on what specific documents and forms you might need.

This is a great resource to be able to not only get a gender marker change but also to learn more about how to update your name change social security card or birth certificate as well depending on the state laws.
