In this episode I finally get the chance to attend a regatta I’ve been looking forward to for months, held at the super friendly 135 year old Colac Yacht Club in Western Victoria. After a pretty funny encounter in the Main Street with some friendly locals I take on some big breeze and steep chop whilst also crashing into something a bit odd under the water! I then take my drone out to try and get some good footage of other competitors on trailer yachts, Impulses, ILCA’s/Lasers and High Performance Catamarans, however this soon ends in disaster for my drone! Unfortunately the Carp Plague in the lake plays havoc with the foils of our faster boats, so next time I’ll have to bring my Ultimate Cruising Dinghy with the Steel Centreboard!
