The businesses that were planning to reopen on 1 July were disappointed by the Prime Minister’s snap decision to postpone the next phase of easing lockdown in England.

Casinos, bowling alleys and skating rinks are among those that will have to wait at least two more weeks.

Indoor performances, wedding ceremonies and outdoor sporting events have also been delayed - but people can still head back to the office next month.
