My team (Mourne Shamblers) and I set up an adventure once every 6 weeks to climb up high Mourne mountains in County Down area.
Anyways, this time we picked Devil's Coach Road for our hiking adventure. The journey was absolutely, definitely, the most challenging and multi-obstacles but the views meant to be magnificent.
Our original team member (s) are four guys, Michael, Andrew, Christ and myself. They're local, accept me came from Cambodia (Southeast Asia) they all (Local lads) were born and raced in Newry, (Northern Ireland) a city bordered with the Republic of Ireland which you'll see in the video, and accepted this time, I've got a friend of mine came over from the UK, who contributed himself to the trip this time. When I first moved to Ireland (Northern Ireland) I hate hiking, walking even walked down the road I often felt taught. Why don't I like walking? Well, there're many reasons; Cambodia is hot and always humid pretty all years around. We all depend on the transports (motorcycles or cars) everywhere we go and it's quite comment.
As you see and you will in this vlog, I often go crazy, it's because I love adventures, especially this part of the world. It's breathtaking and I must say this place is the perfect place to discover yourself and get lost in the scenery. Mourne mountains have got so much to discover if you have an adventuring heart. The Devil's Coach itself is extremely unique and the view, the landscape the mountains are pretty and mind-blowing.
The thing to be aware of the Devil's Coach Road;
You've got to have all the right clothing to wear. Don't trust the weather forecast!
Trust your backpack and what you've packed if you don't have all the right you tough. even if you are in the summer. So here what you can bring, Waterproof shoes, raincoat, a coat, a pair of gloves, windproof trousers, a hat, snacks and maybe maps. Or browse on Google to get some advice from the previous hikers at least.
