Women will advance more quickly at work when men advance in the home. The conversation on gender equality is drastically shifting toward the idea that we can’t change perceptions about one half of the population without challenging perceptions about the other. Sangita Kasturi walks us through critical shifts in thinking, identifies stumbling blocks in our quest for gender equality and shows us how we can achieve real change at home and at work.
As the CEO of Action Inclusion, Sangita Kasturi helps develop insights and practices to overcome issues of conscious and unconscious bias and build workplace inclusion. Solutions are offered through consultations, seminars, workshops and coaching. Commonly addressed areas include gender equality for all people; recognizing and promoting female and minority talent; and developing global leaders.
Sangita is recognized as a dynamic speaker on issues of gender, leadership and diversity and leads corporate learning programs and MBA courses in these areas. She sits on the Board of Directors of The Women's Fund of Greater Milwaukee and was a founding member of Chicago Women on Boards 2020. Sangita has been featured in Working Mother media for expanding our understanding of gender and way decisions are made.
