This video features cluster leaders of Barangay Masiag in the Municipality of Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat, re-telling their experiences in organizing clusters, planning for their enterprise, and marketing their coffee to Nestle. Bagumbayan is one of the project sites of Catholic Relief Services' agroenterprise development projects. The local NGO operating in this municipality is Kadtuntaya Foundation, Inc.
This video was produced through the Xavier University-Catholic Relief Services (XU-CRS) Collaboration Project (now XU-FARM), to be used as an instructional material for agroenterprise development trainings for small farmers.
ABOUT THE FARM PROJECT:
The Farmer Alliances for Resource-Strengthening and Marketing (FARM) Project is a three-year project employing the 8-Step Clustering Approach to Agroenterprise (AE) Development as its framework towards facilitating small farmers in the achievement of sustained livelihoods. Specifically, the Project aims to increase farmers' productivity, increase farmers' incomes, and improve the services offered by public and private institutions to these farmers.
