When I find something worth raving about, I shout it from the rooftops! And the Butter Tarts at Strom's Farm & Bakery located just outside of Guelph, Ontario are probably the best I've ever tasted!!! (Not including of course the Butter Tarts my Mom used to make. So good!) I had a chance to chat with the owner Amy Strom about her amazing butter tarts, and I'm not going to give away the family recipe, but if you love real buttery lick-your-fingers-clean butter tarts, and not the imposters you find at the grocery store, then you've got to go to Strom's! We spent a Saturday morning there in late September with our kids and some of our friends. Everyone had tons of fun, and we all left with our trunks loaded with pumpkins, gourds, and baked goods.
