Ortygia is the ancient heart of ancient Syracusa in Sicily. We spend a day in what was considered to be the most beautiful city by the Greeks. We tour the main square, visit Siracusa Cathedral built on ruins of a temple, then head to the water were we duck low and visit caves and discover who lives under the bridges. A final visit to the Archeologocal Park and we are smitten with this lovely city.
