The Kodak Tele-Ektralite 600 is a simple ‘point and shoot camera produced in USA from 1980 – 1982 near the end of the 110 format’s popularity. It has a 22mm Reomar lens that utilises an additional sliding lens to achieve 44mm ‘zoom’. It has a built-in flash powered by the 9v battery. The protective case doubles up as a folding handle. The 110 film cassette format was introduced by Kodak in 1972 to provide easier film loading than conventional 35mm and open up photography to a wider audience. Production of 110 cameras ended around 1994.
