Tara Whitty and her family from Co. Wexford got back into milk in 2021, installing a single Lely robot to milk 70 heifers. In 2022 they installed a second robot on the farm and are currently milking 130 cows. The flexibility and reliability of the system were two of the main reasons why the family choose to go with robots with Tara also working off-farm as a nurse.
