Hey guys, today is Day 3 of my European adventure, and I'm excited to take you on a journey to two beautiful locations in the South of France: Monaco and Eze. We'll be exploring the second-smallest country in the world, visiting a world-famous casino, and even learning about the art of perfume-making. So, let's get started!
Scene 1: On the Train to Monaco
The first thing we did in the morning was take a train from Nice to Monaco. The train ride took us about 20 minutes and it was a beautiful ride with the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. We got off at the Monaco station and walked to our first destination.
Scene 2: Monte Carlo Casino
Our first stop was the world-famous Monte Carlo Casino. This casino is a symbol of luxury and elegance and has been featured in many movies. We couldn't resist taking some pictures of the iconic building and the beautiful gardens surrounding it. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to gamble, but just being in the casino was an experience in itself.
Scene 3: Prince's Palace
After the casino, we walked up to the Prince's Palace, which is the residence of the Prince of Monaco. The palace has beautiful architecture and we even got to watch the changing of the guard ceremony. The view from the palace was also breathtaking and we could see the entire city and the harbor.
Scene 4: Oceanographic Museum
Our next stop was the Oceanographic Museum, which is located right next to the palace. This museum has a huge collection of marine life, including a shark lagoon, a touch tank, and many other interactive exhibits. We learned a lot about the ocean and conservation efforts, and even got to see a real-life submarine.
Scene 5: Bus to Eze
After spending the morning in Monaco, we took a bus to the medieval village of Eze. The bus ride took about 30 minutes, and we got to see some beautiful scenery on the way. We arrived at Eze and immediately felt like we had stepped back in time.
Scene 6: Eze Village
The village of Eze is located on a hilltop and has stunning views of the coast. We walked through the cobblestone streets and saw beautiful medieval buildings and gardens. We even stopped at a local cafe and had some traditional French pastries.
Scene 7: Fragonard Perfume Factory
Our last stop of the day was the Fragonard Perfume Factory. This factory has been making perfume for over 250 years and we got to learn about the history of perfume-making and the different ingredients that go into making a perfume. We even got to make our own perfumes and take them home as a souvenir.
Conclusion:
That's it for Day 3 of my European adventure. Monaco and Eze were both beautiful and unique in their own ways. From the luxury of Monte Carlo to the medieval charm of Eze, it was a day filled with adventure and learning. If you enjoyed this video, don't forget to like and subscribe for more travel content.
