Children’s Day is highly recognized in China every June 1st. Typically, children attend fewer classes and have less homework. They get to participate in singing and dancing, they share food and snacks and might watch a movie at school. Then parents often work less on this day so they can have fun with the kids. Food, gifts, fun activities, family, and laughter in the early summer are what millions of children in China look forward to every June.
