The Castle de Roquefixade is a ruined Cathar Castle built on a high cliff overlooking the village of Roquefixade, it is located in the central French Pyrenees Mountains, département of Ariège.

During the Albigensian Crusade, Roquefixade did provide a place of refuge for the Cathars.

Now it is a tourist attraction which can be visited. It has spectacular views, and with our drone it was even more beautiful. So please see it for yourself!
