Today we're going to set TAPCON Screws into concrete to secure 2x4 lumber to the wall for a workbench build. These screws are very simple to use and they work great (if you follow the installation instructions). The biggest issue people face with these screws is them breaking off during installation but this can be avoided by drilling the holes at least a quarter of an inch deeper than the screw anchor embedment. Another issue faced is the screw stripping which can also be avoided if you drill the correct size hole and don't over tighten. See how easy it is to set them in this 37 second video. #shorts.
