I was having issues connecting my iPhone 12 to my 2018 Subaru Impreza via bluetooth. Once connected, the audio would drop out and become choppy, making the music impossible to listen to.

Fixing this issue is pretty simple.

Open the settings menu from the touchscreen, scroll down and select wi-fi. Next, turn the w-fi off using the on screen toggle. The audio will now play perfectly.
