Tanoto Foundation joined hands with The Wharton School and World Bank Group in the event Ideas for Action Incubator Competition. Held to strengthen young entrepreneurs in responding to sustainable development goals, the joined effort was initiated as a place to exchange lessons and practice opportunities among its collaborators.
We are excited to announce this year's winners that include VOLUNTREEP, an app that integrates tourism and volunteer work; MAGOODS, a website that connects organic waste suppliers with maggot breeders; and BIAMON, a technology-based bio-acoustic pest monitoring system.
Dr. J. Satrijo Tanudjojo, CEO of Global Tanoto Foundation, said, “We are focused as to how we can contribute to human capital development, uplifting lives and helping the next generation of leaders realize their potential.”
