The Connecting Europe Express was a special train which travelled 20,000 km across 26 countries promoting rail's potential in the EU Year of Rail, 2021. I joined the train between Frankfurt, Leipzig & Berlin. The train is composed of a sleeping-car from ÖBB, a panorama car from SBB, restaurant car from Trenitalia, conference car from SNCF, Intercity seats car from DB and baggage van from MAV.
