In part 3 of the How to shape metal series. Wray is showing how to shape a flat sheet of metal through the use of his flexible shape pattern. He cuts out the size of the blanks he needs, anneals the metal then starts to shrink the edges and stretches the center of the panel. This ensures he has the correct area which he confirms with the use of the flexible shape pattern. In part 4 he will smooth is out with the English wheel and use his bonnet form to shape the front.
