In this episode I demonstrate how I cleaned a silver coin and a necklace chain using an ultrasonic cleaner machine and then making both look shiny with a simple baking soda treatment. Both were simple treatments and effective!

However, caution must be taken with gemstones. Always consult with a jeweler first, specially for diamonds. Most gemstones are not suitable for ultrasonic cleaning. Also, Tungsten should never be cleaned with ultrasonic. Gold and silver have been safe in my experience.
