Our first day in Franz Josef Glacier, checking out some quick hikes near Franz Josef Glacier.

These smaller hikes did not get us a great view of the Glacier, so we are planning to do a larger hike to get us a better view.

We then hiked to a old mining tunnel just out side of the Franz Josef Glacier town. It was a cool little hike and we even got to see some glow worms (go pro barely did). The tunnel was used to transport water to a gold mining operation and then later to transport water for hydro power.
