Do you really have to replace your POLISHED Marble countertops if they are worn, scratched and etched?
Most people think that natural stone, in this case, a polished marble, cannot be fixed or brought back to life. If you already have polished marble countertops installed, and they need to be refinished, we always strongly recommend getting them honed instead of polished.
Many people don’t understand what a honed finish looks like, but over 14 years in this industry, I have never had a client dislike their Honed Marble whether it’s in the kitchen, bathroom, countertops, floors, or even walls.
There are many advantages to the Honed finish on Marble but the main one is ease of maintenance especially when dealing with etches, which happens to be the biggest turn off from people getting natural marble.
