Virginia is still struggling with unemployment issues, and ranks dead last in the nation for quickly resolving issues with unemployment insurance claims
The Department of Labor explained that Virginia ranked 50th in the nation and: “The number of disputed claims reviewed within three weeks — the maximum amount of time federal officials say it should take — dropped from 4.1 percent at the end of last year to 2.4 percent in the first three months of this year.”

Pat Levy-Lavelle, an attorney with the Legal Aid Justice Center, stated: “the fact is that a lot of states acted much quicker and with much more intentionality to realize how big the crisis was and how ill equipped their state agencies were to respond to it.”

They found that nearly half (47%) of couples who had a wedding planned last year moved it to a later date 32% had a wedding ceremony but postponed their reception and 15% postponed their entire wedding to 2021 or beyond.
Chi also said: "I think the broader theme still is that people want to celebrate with friends and family. [They want to] have that big day and it’s still a special moment in everyone’s life."
Finally, restaurants across America are finally picking back up, and are actively seeking employees and are willing to pay extra to get these hard working Americans back to work.

According to Indeed: “Food-service job postings on Indeed.com in mid-April stood 16.2% higher than in February 2020.”
