Hey everyone! Today, I’m excited to walk you through the workflow I used to create this beautiful lamp. It’s made of metal and features quartz earrings, giving it a unique and elegant touch.
I started by modeling the stones and anchor elements in 3ds Max. For the arms of the lamp, I turned to SpeedTree. This tool is incredible for positioning objects along branches in a procedural way, making it perfect for achieving a natural, hanging look for the quartz earrings.
Once the modeling was complete, I imported everything back into 3ds Max for verification and to set up UV coordinates.
For rendering, I used Corona Renderer. And here’s the best part—every texture you see is entirely procedural. No maps or images were used in this project!
