Talia's birthday is coming up, and with encouragement from her friends, she decides to have a party at her house. Carl is ecstatic to be invited, however his parents refuse to let him go, as they need someone to stay home and take care of his sisters. Still not wanting to miss it, Carl attempts to sneak out behind their backs.
