It was an absolutely beautiful sunny day in the Tahoe National Forest, making it a great day to get out and hike. I decided to start my day at the Carr and Feely lake trail head off Bowman Lake Rd. The temp was perfect and there was not a cloud in sight. The snow on the trail added a little more excitement and adventure. The further out you went, the snow became more dense but it began to melt as the day heated up which made the hike more difficult. The lakes I was trying to fish ended up being frozen, so instead I just took in the sights and sounds of the beautiful out doors.
