Homai te Pakipaki is a whanau friendly, interactive vocal competition, filmed LIVE on Friday nights at Māori Television’s Auckland Studios in Newmarket. Representing grassroots Aotearoa; soloists, duets and trios perform a diverse range of acoustic covers, own compositions and karaoke eager to capture the attention of the text voting public. The season culminates in a Grand Final in front of a large audience – the overall winner walks away with a $20,000 prize money.
