After greetings, the General inspects Guard of Honour and short speeches are exchanged. Various shots, President de Gaulle goes amongst the people at the airport shaking hands. Various shots, the two leaders in open car drive through the crowd-lined streets waving until the arrival at the Palace of the State's Council. CU The two leaders and their wives greet each other again in the Palace. Various shots at the meeting of the leaders in the palace, French Foreign Minister M. Couve de Murville has now joined them and he chats to Rumanian counterpart George Macovescu. Gifts are exchanged between the two leaders and then at a reception they drink toast to each other.
