In this video I will show you how to draw a reflex angle using a ruler and a protractor. A reflex angle is an angle over 180 degrees.

In example 1, you are asked to draw an angle of 200 degrees. First draw a base line about 5cm long. Put your protractor on the right side of the line, and put a marker at 180 degrees. Next subtract 180 from 200 to work out the extra angle to measure (20). Turn the protractor around on to the new marker and measure the extra 20 degrees. Finally mark in the 200 degree reflex angle.

In example 2 you are asked to draw an angle of 312. Follow the same method as example 1 but the extra bit to measure will be 132 degrees (312-180).
