Bengaluru, May 11 (ANI): AIADMK MPs were in tears on Monday after a special bench of the Karnataka High Court acquitted former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa in the disproportionate assets case. The special high court bench headed by Justice CR Kumaraswamy pronounced the judgment. Jayalalithaa was last year sentenced to four years in jail in connection with the Rs. 66.65 crore disproportionate assets case. The court had also imposed a hefty fine of Rs. 100 crores on her.
