My latest "Let's Play" of Train Simulator 2018. This time I am using the Armstrong Powerhouse Class 319 Train Pack on the West Coast Main Line Trent Valley route from Rugby to Stafford. I am using the London Midland variant here as 319457 and this is quite an intensive and a very fun train to drive. The realism is on par with the wow factor that has gone into the train pack as there are many features that come with the train. Working destination blinds and a functioning GSM-R train monitor (its a glorified Tachometer or Black Box that coaches and airplanes use). This video is about an hour long and there is plenty of AI traffic that I have added into the scenario as well. I had some issues with the game crashing, so I lopped off some AI trains to about 18 and all seems to work fine hence that I have made this video successfully. This is my favourite Electric Multiple Unit and I do love the sounds that are very realistic. The route has working "Neutral Sections" on the overhead power cables as per real life that is fully functioning on this train, so that also adds to the experience. I also show you how the set up the train and to get it moving as well as how to operate the doors at stations as a different technique is used here. The video is just over an hour here but I have another video of the Class 319 that will use another route that will be longer and also where I will thrash the train as well. But no more spoilers just yet, all be revealed in the next video.
