Aloha! Watch this to see examples of using SeaFrogs Wide Angle Wet Lens, this one mounted on my Seafrogs housing for a Canon G1X MK II camera, APS-C 24.2 megapixel sensor and lens at 24mm.
Overall this is a fun adapter to use for diver and animal close ups, shipwrecks, and walls. Works well for stills and video. Highly recommended accessory, especially at $158, well worth it for some artistic and fun shots.
Be careful of the sunlight angle while shooting due to reflections and glare that get in the frame, plus the rotation of the sun shade can vignette the image.
Light and color transmission is bright and dynamic, but edge focus comes into play and can adjusted a bit with aperture. Most fish eye lenses get distorted and/or out of focus at the edge of the frame.
The construction quality is good, with a glass dome that is fairly resistant to scratches, and sturdy metal mount ring and dense plastic hood.
Enjoy the shots! Blaze
