In this tutorial video, I am explaining how to calculate the possible energy levels and wave functions of an electron inside in an infinite potential well. The calculation starts with solving the time-independent Schrödinger equation for the one-dimensional case. The wave function is obtained using a general ansatz for differential equations and then normalizing it by integrating over the square and setting the result equal to one.
