Dr. Tara Nidhi Bhattarai holds an M.Sc. in Geology from Tribhuvan University, a postgraduate diploma in Engineering Geology from ITC (Netherlands), and a Ph.D. in Engineering Geology from Kyushu University (Japan). He is presently an associate professor at the Department of Geology, Tri ­Chandra Campus, Tribhuvan University. Dr. Bhattarai is great at articulating social issues as well.
