A Russian military blogger claimed that Ukrainian forces struck a Russian training camp on Dzharylhach Island in the Black Sea 70 km southeast of Kherson City.
The Ukrainian frontline positions are reportedly at least 60km from the training camp.
Ukrainian forces are thought to have conducted the strike with long-range high-precision munition Himars.
The Ukrainian Resistance Centre reported that Ukrainian citizens in the area provided information to the Ukrainian armed forces about the location of the camp.
Russian troops recently established the camp to allow for Russian forces to undergo rehabilitation and recovery and to increase the training level of troops.
