La Candelaria is located at the heart of Bogotá’s Historic Center. This neighborhood has some of the most popular museums and attractions in the city, which makes it a great place to stay if you’re just in town for one or two days. In this video, I'll be sharing my tips on what to do if you have limited time there.
If you stay in La Candelaria, you can easily see the city's major attractions in just a few short hours, most within walking distance. Since we only had one night in Bogotá, I'm really glad we stayed in this neighborhood, even though it isn't considered the safest (for that, try Chapinero or Chicó).
There is SO much to explore in Colombia's capital city, but many people often skip it or don't have much time here before catching a flight out of El Dorado International Airport, the country's largest and busiest airport. So if you don't have a lot of time, but still want a taste of what this city has to offer, follow my tips in this video!
