Expect winds to remain a bit on the gusty during your lunch hour but eventually subside later this afternoon.
The afternoon will remain dry. Highs will top out in the low 60s in the Northtowns. Cooler low to mid 50s in Southern Tier.
Another bulk of showers arrive during the morning hours. Mid 50s on Wednesday. Winds will pick out of the southwest again during the afternoon hours into evening. Gusts will peak over 40mph late Wednesday in Thursday morning, just enough to knock over garbage cans.
Colder air on the back of the low moving through will allow for some Lake Effect Rain Showers to fire up around the metro area Thursday.
The weekend looks cool with a few lake showers out there. The hill tops in the Southern Tier could see some very minor snow accumulation Friday into Saturday.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with sctd. showers. High 57.
THURSDAY: Mostly Cloudy with gusty winds, cooler. Scattered showers, especially south. High: 43.
FRIDAY-SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy, breezy and cooler with sctd. rain and snow showers. Highs near 41.
