Hello, lovely people, and welcome to this simple, easy technique video for painting simple sun rays coming from behind the clouds in a lovely grey, stormy sky. Equipment List for Today: I'm using Saunders Waterford cold pressed paper, 100% cotton, weight 140lb, cut into a quarter of an imperial sheet. Colours today are Cobalt Blue, Burnt Umber, and Payne's Grey, all small-batch hand made watercolours from the Etsy store linked above. My brushes are: a Daler Rowney Aquafine 2 inch synthetic 'Skyflow' flat was brush; an Escoda Ultimo size 10 synthetic mop brush; a Daler Rowney synthetic small fan brush size 2; a Pro Arte synthetic sword liner size Small; and a Pro Arte Series 60 miniature fine detail brush, size 4/0.
