I tried uploading a 20 minute edit of Sian as Livia in I Claudius - but unfortunately, that got blocked immediately. A pity, because then you could have seen and compared the full extent of Sians emotional acting range. The maternal warmth (and worry) of the mother she plays here in stark contrast to the cold and monsterous witch mother she plays in I Claudius. But whatever mother she was/is you can't take your eyes off her - not for a second.
