In this video we test fired the brand new Rugged Oculus 22 suppressor, one of the most popular 22 suppressors for sale in the market. Rugged’s quality is likely due to the fact that they are a branch from SilencerCo. They are well-known for creating some of the most durable suppressors in the industry. Their suppressors are also known for firing on belt-fed machine guns. The Rugged Oculus 22 is caliber rated for 22LR, 22WMR, 17HMR, 17WSM, and 5.7x28MM. The diameter is just a little over an inch at 1.06”. There are two configurations for the Rugged Oculus 22: standard and short. The standard configuration is at 5.25” and is 6.9oz while the short configuration is 3.25” and weighs 4.3oz. It has a cerokote finish and is made up of 17-4PH stainless steel.
Our immediate impression of the Rugged Oculus 22 suppressor is we understand why it is one of the most popular new suppressors in the industry. If you are familiar with the Rugged brand, you will recognize similar traits such as the extremely detailed outer body. Taking the suppressor apart is easier than expected, but probably our favorite feature is being able to break it down into a smaller configuration which we explain in the video.
As far as testing it on the range, we tried both configurations. In the full configuration there was literally no first round pop which is something that Rugged brands heavily with its audience. As expected, it was very quiet and had very little POI shift.
Overall, we were very pleased with the Rugged Oculus 22 Suppressor and of course we have this 22 suppressor for sale on our website at [ Ссылка ].
