Predrasude o tome da su žene same krive za nasilje, i da je nasilje privatna stvar koja bi se trebala rješavati unutar porodice, vrlo su opasne i mogu dovesti do produbljivanja nasilja. U želji da promijenimo shvatanje ovih stereotipa, razgovarali/e smo sa Goricom Ivić iz Fondacije "Udružene žene" Banja Luka i Elmirom Ibralićem iz Udruženja "Vive žene" iz Tuzle o specijaliziranim uslugama za žene koje trpe nasilje u porodici, ali i o važnosti rada sa počiniteljima.

Prejudice about women being solely responsible for violence, and violence being a private matter that should be resolved within the family, are very dangerous and can lead to more violence. With a wish to change how these stereotypes are understood, we talked to Gorica Ivić from Foundation "United Women" from Banja Luka and Elmir Ibralić from Association "Vive žene" from Tuzla about specialized services for women who are victims of domestic violence, but also about the importance of working with the perpetrators.
