Kaloma "Valse Hesitante", composed by Giré Goulineaux (a pseudonym of Johann C. Schmid) in 1914 for piano solo.
The title for this "Hesitation Waltz" was based off a famous 1914 photograph that was simply labeled "Kaloma." It was later (and incorrectly) assumed to be a picture of Josephine Earp and was used on the cover of a book about her life. While the composer was likely trying to capitalize on the popularity of the image, it's still a beautiful waltz and makes a dazzling piano solo. This piece was commissioned by John McDonnell and you can read more about Schmid and this piece on his website here: [ Ссылка ] Hope you enjoy! 🎵
