I first met Richard Browne (Bboy Mouse) in early 1998 when he was 14, at Scarborough Town The Rec Centre. It was our home to build our breaking skills, crack jokes at each other, stay out of trouble and most of all, the start of our friendship. We both later got down with Supernaturalz Crew in the same year early 1999 and had the best times together practicing almost everyday. He had a high level of talent at such a young age with no fear and became the enforcer in most of our breaking battles. I wish everyone could see how powerful his dance was during that time. He was flying like no other. He was a little brother to me, who was brave to have my back all the time and I always made sure every night we kicked it, he was home safe cause he watched out for me and the crew. Mouse was a huge inspiration and positive influence in the Toronto hiphop/breaking scene to a lot of people and ALWAYS repped his crew/family and city to the fullest.
Yesterday was saddened to hear him passed away. He was one my best friends in the crew. My thoughts and prayers are with you, his daughter Makayla and the Browne Family. Please know he will always be loved and missed. We love you Mouse.
