As we look forward to announcing Season 6 shortly, we wanted to take the next few posts to highlight the incredible artists and dances that have made the past 5 seasons so successful.
First up, part of 2017’s Season 2, Shadows.
Shadows, choreographed by Christopher Bruce and set to music by Arvo Pärt, was originally created for Phoenix Dance Theatre, UK.
Toba Singer for Culture Vulture said, “‘Shadows’ is dance theatre in its finest contemporary hour, brought to life masterfully by a movement-sentient ensemble.”
This clip “opens by unleashing the spitfire energy of Steffi (Cheong) Hoydich.”
