I am indeed delighted to release the eternal composition of Annamacharya "Entha Mathramuna" sung by my sister S.Saundarya and myself, today being my birthday.
This wonderful song was popularised by my Great Grandmother Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi and Grandmother Dr.Radha Viswanathan.
Set to tune by the genius Sri Kadayanallur Venkataraman, "Entha Mathramuna" was also close to the heart of my Great Grandfather T.Sadasivam.
The song has a very profound meaning, the essence of which is that
"Everybody's way of perceiving God is right in its own way."
Annamacharya also describes that God is not only limited to Godly forms but also to abstract non living methods, thoughts and power. He says that ultimately it matters little to God how one perceives Him to be.
The composition has been set to Brindavani and Mayamalavagowla Ragams, Misra chapu talam.
