I have been making new Namco game themes because MAME has improved some Namco boards emulation lately. Time Crisis 2 runs over Namco System Super 23 hardware.
Time Crisis II is a 1997 light gun arcade video game developed and published by Namco. It is the second instalment in the Time Crisis series. The game incorporates the same mechanics of its predecessor, with some minor changes, but with the addition of co-operative two-player gaming.
Players score points by landing short, successive hits on enemy soldiers and equipment. There is also time bonus points for remaining time at end of stages. The game also features no-miss bonus for rewarding players with having high accuracy during their gameplay. Players can lose points by hitting allies during specific parts of the game.
This game is perfectly playable in MAME, feel free to add this game to you Namco collection.
